CALL FOR PAPERS: Development Days 2020 is now open!
We invite you to join us in Helsinki, for Development Days 2020 Conference ‘Inequality Revisited: In Search of Novel Perspectives on an Enduring Problem’, to take place on 26 – 28 February 2020. Join and contribute to a critical academic and practitioner exchange on new trends, promises, pitfalls and alternatives in development-related research.
You can submit your abstract directly to one of the panels, by contacting their chairs. The abstracts should be submitted by 30 November 2019, directly to the chairs of the panel of your choice. In case of doubts concerning the selection of panels, please submit your abstract to the organising committee (developmentdays2020@gmail.com) and we will try to assign it to a fitting panel or event. Read more about the specific panels at: http://www.kehitystutkimus.fi/conference/panels
The panels address a range of themes, including extractivism, decoloniality, politics of poverty, racism, intersectionality, sustainability, education and citizenship, to name a few. In addition to panels, the conference will host Master’s and Doctoral workshops, as well as a civil society event; offering a variety of opportunities for you to engage and present your research, to learn about other research in the field, and to strengthen your network.
For more details, including confirmed keynote speakers and for practical information, please visit the conference website at: http://www.kehitystutkimus.fi/conference/
We are looking forward to seeing you in Helsinki!
